What are your rates and turnaround times?

Visit this page to see my rates and methods. My rates reflect many years of experience and are comparable with other proofreaders in the industry. They are based on how quickly you need the file returned to you.

What types of documents do you proofread, and what file types do you accept?

I proofread transcripts for court reporters. To ensure a smooth proofreading process and timely turnaround, please submit your transcript in PDF format. I also accept .txt and ASCII files, but PDF format is preferred.

I also proofread blog posts, website content, and other documents. Please contact me for rates for other types of proofreading.

How do you accept payment for your services?

I use FreshBooks to send invoices. You will be able to pay via credit or debit card. I can also send your invoice via PayPal if you prefer. I send invoices upon completion of the work, but if you are a regular client, I send invoices on the first of each month. Payment is due within 21 days, and I reserve the right to add late fees to invoices that are not paid on time.

Do you have any client references?

I do! You can see several of them in the testimonials section at the bottom of the home page of this website. If you would like a more in-depth reference, I can put you in touch with one or more of my clients. I am so thankful for my clients, many of whom I count as my friends.

Why is your business called On the Dot Proofreading?

The phrase “on the dot” has been one of my favorites for many years. It implies punctuality, preciseness, and dependability. It also reminds me of polka dots, my favorite pattern!
