Looking for an experienced proofreader to help with your files? Thanks so much for considering my proofreading services. The steps below explain how to begin the process of working with me.
Step 1: contact me to make sure i am accepting new clients
If you are interested in working with me, use the contact form below to make sure I am available to proofread for you. If you have been referred by one of my wonderful clients, please tell me which one.
step 2: if I am available, i will invite you to the client portal
If I am accepting new clients, I will invite you to my client portal, where you will complete (1) an onboarding questionnaire and (2) a client preferences form. Proofreading can begin only when I have accepted you as a new client and those two forms have been completed.
step 3: send me a file to proofread
Use the link in the client portal to upload your file and the job details (turnaround date/time). Please send the file in PDF format if possible. I also accept .txt files.
step 4: proofreading commences
I'll get to work on your transcript and will contact you via email if any major questions arise.
step 5: I will create a screencast recording if needed
If any of my corrections require a verbal explanation, I will create a brief screencast recording.
step 6: I will return the corrections on time
I will return the corrected transcript by the agreed-upon deadline.
step 7: provide feedback for me if needed
After you receive the corrected transcript, please follow up with any questions or feedback. I value your feedback and will use it to provide an even better experience for you next time!
step 8: I will send you an invoice
If this is the first time we've worked together, I will send you the invoice for my services upon receipt of the corrected transcript. If you are an established client, I will send your invoice on the first of each month. More invoicing procedures are located here.
